This is one of the finest examples of an French work jacket I've seen in a long time.
Most modern versions skimp a bit on the fabric and think that a cotton with a lighter weight is more contemporary. www.thomashoes.com
But this uses the same fabric that was lightly brushed Le Mont St Michel were using in the early years in the 20th century.
It's also a little larger, which is great, and comes in the traditional French blue, as well as a brick red , mens boot heels which is quite wearable due to the slightly chalky material. (It is not as strong a colour as the image suggests.)
